Game design
Design a maze around pursuit and routes
An insect-themed maze game can use routes, gates and pursuers to create decisions. The board needs to show which paths are available before a player commits to a turn.
Model the maze as a graph of connected cells and test that required destinations remain reachable. Moving gates should have visible state and predictable timing.
Begin with one pursuer and a small board. Track how often a player can escape through a second route rather than only reversing direction. This gives a concrete way to assess maze variety.
