Evaluate a game-history book project

A history-book proposal should make its scope and evidence clear. Ask which period it covers, how sources are documented and how the author distinguishes recollection from contemporaneous records.

For a crowdfunding proposal, separate an intended schedule from a delivered book. Look for sample pages, a clear outline and a realistic account of the work remaining rather than treating a funding goal as publication.

Build your reading notes around questions the book can answer. Keep references and page numbers with observations so a later discussion can be checked. This page does not solicit funding or make current campaign claims.
