Make room for shared play

A short game can make a gathering more interactive when everyone understands how to join. Choose a clear control scheme and a round length that leaves room for another player.

For alternating turns, show the next player’s name or position and reset the controls before handing over. Keep a practice round available so unfamiliar players are not eliminated before they understand the rules.

A simple local score sheet and a cooperative goal can make the session welcoming. Let players opt out of sound and keep instructions visible while the game runs.
