Design games around device constraints
A device changes more than the rendering runtime. Screen size, input, sound initiation, orientation and interruptions affect how a game should behave.
Build a short test on the target device that covers loading, touch, pause and resume. Replace hover-dependent controls, keep text readable and avoid assuming the player has a physical keyboard.
Evaluate the game’s delivery and interaction separately from a debate about platforms. The useful question is whether a player can understand and complete the intended activity in that environment. Video playback is not provided on this page.
