Dice Battle: turn-based rules that can be tested
Dice-based combat puts probability beside player decisions. Keep random rolls separate from rule resolution so the same roll sequence can reproduce a match. This makes balancing and debugging much less dependent on luck.
Define the turn phases explicitly: choose an action, roll, resolve damage and determine whether the round ends. The interface should show both the roll and how it becomes a result.
Try a deterministic test with minimum rolls, maximum rolls and ties. Then compare strategies over many seeded matches. A higher win rate is meaningful only when the tested strategies and starting conditions are stated.
