Test a runtime feature before adopting it
A beta runtime can demonstrate a promising feature, but a game project needs to know how that feature behaves under its own workload. Keep an experiment isolated from the stable build.
Use one small example with clear expected output. Compare rendering, input and memory behavior before and after enabling the feature, and record the runtime configuration used for the test.
Decide on a fallback before making the feature essential. A reproducible experiment supports a technical choice more reliably than excitement about a release name.
